This idyllia won't last long. I too have raised a trio. One at 2' was adopted by Rodrigo of Predatory Fins. Two others are still with me. 2' and 2.5'.
I don't expect it too but it's nice while it lasts.
Any insight in particular you can offer as someone who's raised them successfully?

Sperata aor, like any other large growing bagrid, is very aggressive.
Mine when small was a very bitey fish, not territorial, or may be it thought the whole 6*2.5' footprint tank was the its territory.
