I have 3 golds in a 10 gallon just until I get my 90 running....YES 10, I had to do some tank moving so they got put out for a minute. The thing is, I was really worried about them killing each other but THEY DONT MOVE!!!All 3(about an inch each) just sit there, they eat just fine and get a 50% WC every other day. No agression at all. I know they grow slow but what is the best thing for me to do here, I could keep them in there for a while till they get SOME size...maybe 2 inches then retank them......Any ides?

I dont think i would keep them in there any longer than you need to, i would hate to have one of them snap on the other. Just my opinion tho

They are solitary fish right, so eventually you only keep 1. What size do they need to be separated?

So what's your plan then? Are you planning on keeping all 3?

I would suggest that you choose ONE very soon And give the little guy the 90 to himself otherwise the piranhas will decide for themselves which one stays. ;).

I doubt many of us have the type of personal experience you're seeking here. It appears you're getting alot of guesses about their behavior as adults and sub adults. Your best bet would be to seek out an importer or pet store owner since they're more likely to keep larger quantities in small tanks then people who keep Ps in the home aquarium

if you want to keep them all alive now, divide the tank, even it's a 10g.
once they are in the 90 you could try cohab them, lower the temperature to reduce aggression, put lots of hiding spaces and keep an close eye on them.
if you have question try to pm "winkyee" he is cohabing a bunch in a 125g
