I know that different polys have different amounts of spinal finlets, even among the same types (senegals). I was wondering if anyone noticed if there was a correlation between amount of finlets and size? My biggest senegal (grew the fastest too) has 9 finlets before the back tail, the next two biggest only have 8. I have two dels, but counting those finlets are a lot harder than the sens. Just wondering if anyone has found a correlation or if it just happened tthat my sen with the most finlets grew bigger.

Your 8 spine sene could be a semi-short body that's why. If you notice that the shorter they become the less spine they have.
