I will try and help out in any way that I can. The key to a good aquascape is having everything you want and need ready to go. A planted tank can be hard to deal with when you are first learning. The biggest problem people have with planted tanks is light. Most people just don't have enough light. Next is when you get into high light you need CO2 and a good line of ferts. I also suggest a good substrate. Eco-Complete, Flourite, are ADA Aquasoil, are some of the big names. I didn't want to spend the $$$ on them so I went with Soil Master which is a baseball field additive much like Turface MVP whice is also good. There are so many things, I could go on and on. I will be glad to help with any of your planting questions.
