Well i went to the LFS to ask what they eat there, they said brine shrimp... but i can't find a good staple for them to feed on.

I also tried to feed them brine shrimp but they don't even ****ing recognize it as food, they just look at it and say "oh... more debris and **** flying around in the tank, i can't possibly eat that..." the only thing i seen them eat is guppies when the rare chance they swim by come...

Well its been over 3 months and they haven't eaten... the girl at the lfs said "oohh wellll they'd be dead if they didn't eat anything for months" which is complete bull**** since i KNOW for a fact that fish can survive without food for several months, especially predators. and i also notice both of them are now on their last guns swimming around constantly tryna find "guppies that swim in their area".. since they don't eat pellets, tadpoles, krill, and flakes that i tried to give them...

they are young still... and i can't afford to dump $100 worth of ghost shrimp in the tank every week to feed them and have like 80% of them get sucked into the filter and 15% dying in the wee corners of the 55gal and not eaten from getting lost in the tank.

WTF DO I FEED These guys?!?!? their brains are so small they don't know wtf they want.. i swear... i tried everything for 3 months and they haven't eaten and i KNOW this from their near-death behavior and size...

hav u tried earthworms?

how? just tear up my lawn in the back yard and drop em in???

but how do you feed them that?

a good time to find them is after it rains, under rocks or wood. just make sure u rinse them off b4 u put em in but yeah put em in there and the eels will find em.

Why can't you try bloodworms? The mastacembelus eels are always picky with their foods. Give market shrimps a shot and soak them in garlic juice.

Actually, I think the only solution you have is soak even the brine shrimps in garlic juice. This might persuade them to eat.

dude they are prob eatting. i put in frozen blood worms, never saw mine eat but they obviously where. considering my oldest was 3 years and over 12"(peacock eel, not even supposed to hit 12")

Can't figure it out... deciding to sell them.
