Spiny Eels: Where are they from?

yep they would do just fine try not to go below like 6.0 or above 8.0

I do, and they are doing great. I believe that pH would be similar to what they have in the wild, and they are freshwater fish. The Morey Eels are not freshwater, although they are sometimes sold that way.

Correct me if Im wrong but arent Tanganyikan eels a spiny 'eel' (actually a loach) and from Africa?

Fire eels and peacocks are from SE Asia BTW.

Yep, we actually have those in stock, and they are spendy! I don't think it is a loach, but all spiny eels are technically not "eels" either
