could you guys id my friend's fish......second whats the difference please

Strong barring and yellowish head/chest area=Spilurus.

hes got strong barring or is that stess barring and yellow chest but not head so hes a sarja?

Here's pic of sajica you can make decision. Sorry didn't make it clear yours is spilurus like male I first posted.

They are Spirulus, not sajica.

hi im the owner of the fish in question. it has developed strong red/blue patterning on anal dorsal and caudal fins like sajica. is this a trait of spirulus?

Do you have pics of the parents? how big are the fish in question?

the fish are almost 3 inches no pics of parents sorry was given by somebody as unwanted. been trying to get a decent pic showing fin colouration but my camera is useless
