Ok as revolting as it might sounds, it actually works. I had problems keeping my acrylic tank clear for a long time now. I tried water, glass cleaners and even those lens and screen cleaners meant for laptop screens. But none of them works.

Thats when I had the brilliant idea of using spit. Well snorkers have successfully use spit to clean and prevent their snorkeling mask from fogging. So I gave it a try, spit a couple of time all over my tank and use a clean towel to wipe it.

My tank has never been as clear as it was when I first bought it. I'm happy with the results. Only problem was the smell :screwy::screwy::screwy:. But you have to literally stick your face on the tank to smell it.

Just thought of sharing :headbang2

Vinegar.... mix it with water.....magical.... dunno if you tried it :)

Compare the smell of spit to vinegar, i take spit anyday

spit or whatever, just make sure to use microfiber towels on anything acrylic to avoid micro scratches which cause a fuzzy look to your acrylic. Eventually you will need to polish out the scratches caused from normal towels/scrapers.

Doesn't really matter because I'll be upgrading this main tank soon and this tank would just be used as a QT or house feeders. Just want to make it look nice now

Too expensive

thats funny. Ha atleast it works
