What in the F*** is this ? My silver aro that is about 16" that i have had for about a year is chewing up his silversides and then spitting them out after he has shredded them what is this? He is in my 396 with a 12" silver aro. I do a 150 gallon water change twice a week and i believe all the water parameters to be fine.

sometimes they just have these periods. dont worry about it too much, unless it goes on for a month.
Don't worry. It is showing you that it is fed up with the silversides....Let her stay without food for a couple of days...I would not offer her any alternative food immediately.

Does everything else in your tank look normal? Other fish OK? I wouldn't worry unless it becomes indicitive of a medical issue. Probably being an Aro!
very very normal. its there way of showing you "hah, i hate this food n you keep throwin it in here, imma chew it up n make you clean it up so feed me something else". you can hold off on feeding if you want him eating silversides. or you can feed somethign else. either way he's not gonna starve himself to death.
My 3 motoro rays are all fine and eating and i do feed krill to switch it up, but he is fowling up my water doing this sh*T!
