Split fin

So my younger Oscar has a split the fan on the back. Should I be concerned and start treating the split fan or should I let time heal the fish?

Clean water will heal it and it's the best way to go.
Long term, I'd aim to do way more than 25% per week, more like 50% minimum providing your tank is not overstocked, in which case I'd do more.
