Well I know people ask about feeding eel or hand feeding. I have a different problem. Mine only wants to eat from my hand.

Friendly eel. Mine was similar but way smaller.

The other fish don't like it either. The bass are coming to my hand now. But their much more aggressive of a feeder.

I hand feed my fire eel as well. If there isn’t food in my hand, it will bite my hand. My big Uaru has learned to associate my hand with food as well. Those little teeth are a bit uncomfortable!
