i just gave my girl a 55 gal set up, with lights, lid gravel some plants and other tank items and a filstar xp2.

gold fish? make sure u dont feed ur gf too much, they get bloated belly easily and will start to turn upside down. its pertty permenant and they dont last long after that..

Fish tanks don't spoil girl friends, leaving them in the sun too long spoils girlfriends. Or was that gold fish,,,sometimes I get confused.
