Sponge filter sizes plz help

Hi guys just a quick Q. What size sponge filters do you use on your 10 gallon growout tanks? is it best to just get a up to ten gallon rated one or a bigger one? thanks.

Bigger is better IMO.

I use an HOB with a sponge filter over the intake.

All the power and efficiency of an HOB but no dead fry.

bigger is better and that is it i use a 10-20 for my ten.

the skinny dual sponge ones suck...too loud of bubbling and almost no flow...get one that has a 1" riser and put the airstone deep...

This is what I used to raise convict fry in a 10g. Works like a charm and is short enough for a smaller tank.
