Anyone tell me what this is? This is as good a picture as my camera will let me take so sorry for that. My Channa panaw has this on both eyes. The surrounding eye looks misty and then it has this central portion to it. Looking from the side it doesn't look external but actually underneath the eye membrane as it were.

It isn't blind as still eats fine and no other mark on body. Tank params are 0ppm ammonia and nitrate and 20ppm nitrate.

No other fish have this and they're all fine. Never feed any frozen foods or add plants. Haven't added any new fish in months.

To me its almost like a kind of cataract?

Any help would be most appreciated

Thanks ROB

Could just be a scuff or mild abbrasion. Or could be cloud eye. Fairly common and easy to treat. Usually caused by poor water quality and / or stress. Do a 50% water change and add some aquarium salt at the doseage recommended on the container. Warm your water up as high as you are comfortable warming it. 85+ is ideal. Just be sure to increase circulation and surface agitation to keep the dissolved oxygen levels up. 3-5 days do another 25% water change. Add salt, but only add salt to the amount of water you removed, not the entire tank again. Repeat the process untill it clears. Usually doesnt take very long.
