I bought this ray as a superspot. Its about 3 years now and have develop a lot of spotting as expected. Somebody informed me that my ray may be a hybrid but I'm not sure. Not so good pics, but you can notice spots around the big spots - looks like forming a pattern as all big spots have the same small spots surrounding it (sunflower style). It's healthy and active and just curious what pattern will appear on the pups as she gave birth to three last month. By the way, dad is almost black in colour and have normal spots as motoros have. Any thoughts.

Very nice superspot, From what I understand the smaller spots can fade in and out throughout their life

I highly doubt it is a hybrid

I agree that it's probably a full motoro. She appears to be a big girl. It's hard to say if the pups will take after mom or dad. Any pics of the pups?

thanks guys, it's not a hybrid then. As to the spotting I agree that pops in and out but some dominant once stays, like the spots circling the big spot. I think it's worth the money I paid for the mom as I had to get it for a premium.

I don't have a some good pics of the pups and they'll be pick up by their new owners this coming week. I can see on their development that they have above average spotting from the previous motoro pups I've acquired so likely to follow mom's genes.
