Spots on Catfish??

Pangasius Catfish suddenly became covered in tiny white spots, doesnt look too good. Any advice would be cool...

Does it look like Ich? If you're not familiar, it looks like the fish is covered with salt. If the spots look flatter on the skin I would guess a fungus of some sort.

Can you take some pictures and post them?

If it is ich, I would recommend coppersafe. Or you could add aquarium salt and raise the temperature, but I think that is kind of risky with catfish.

most likely ich or velvet with that kind of fish. Isolate, use higher temp, good bio filter, treat with Schem Cupramine. Will clear up in 1 day.

^^ I agree... if one fish has it... better to treat them all IMO... thats what I do anyway

I had two Colombians that had the same thing. I began treating with salt and temp but it was too late. the next morning they were both dead. good luck buddy

errrr.... shouldn't they have been in brackish water anyway?
