Spots on fin. Fungus?

So I asked for an ID on this fish in another thread. I got it from a friend. I just noticed these white spots on the fin. I’m not sure if they were there before or just showed up. I’ve only had him three days. Is it a fungus or something or natural spots?

Dont look like typical fungus. Could be some lymphocystis. Especially silly with new fish. Would watch and keep ur water clean.

So I feel a little dumb, but someone pointed out that they are egg spots. Lol. I’m pretty sure they are correct.

yup those look like egg spots to me. typical of lots of africans
