Guys I have 3 new blue spotted sunfish. I came home today and one of them looks to have some white patches on it. Does not look like Ich, but it wasnt like this yesterday. They were just introduced into the tank, could this be stress related or should I get him out? What is this and how should I treat it. Its a 55 gallon native planted tank, with some snails. All was well until today. tank has been up and running smooth for months. Water numbers have been 0 ppm. I will test again. I have been feeding them dried BW and frozen foods.

HELP!!!

not ich, but look like bacterial infection. Do not raise temperature and treat with antibiotics.

Good, I pulled him out of the main tank and put him in my QT tank and treated the water with Pimafix. I also added 2 tbsp of aquarium salt. The main tank I just did a large water change and will monitor my other fish.

Well, he's not looking too good at all. I have him in my QT tank and came out to see him attached to the intake. I knocked him off, and he is barely hanging on. I just hope I don't end up with any more deaths. This came out of no where. He was fine last night, eating like crazy and swimming around no problem. I just hate when this happens.

What are the chances my other fish get it? None of them show any symptoms. All active and eating well.

It's a native tank. There is no heater in the tank. I have plants and snails in the tank. Do they need to be removed if I need to treat the tank? What should I use to treat the tank?

The sick sunny passed away last night in my qt tank. Checked my main tank this morning and everything seemed fine.
