There might be a problem. The Ctenopoma will get much larger than the tetras. If your tetras are slow moving, hang out towards the bottom, and swim right in front of his face he will take a swipe at them but the Ctenoopoma will not chase them.
okay then, tetras would be a meal. what if i got rid of the tetras? i have two banjo catfishes, one is 3" the other is 4". do yall think they would be safe with a ctenopoma? the banjos do bury themselves all day long, of course if the perch comes out and hunts at night (iv read that they are nocturnal) that might be bad news for the banjos.
Well how large is the Ctenopoma? That should not be problem Banjos have large heads. I dont think the Centopoma will be able to swallow. Fish that are the small size or larger should not be a problem at all.
