For the last 3 years I've been raising Mystery/Apple Snails. That was fun and now I'm fazing that out; in that for the last year or so I freeze the eggs immediately. In the tank I've had only kept a few guppies and a few Bronze Corys.

Couple of months ago I bought a Pleco and a couple of Spotted Corys, as I'm down to only 4 Snails, and wanted a little bit of action in there (we're moving so I didn't want too many to pack). Apparently I picked a male and female, and they have spawned on the glass a few times, much to my surprise, and now I have little Cory's swimming all over the place! This is so cool. Only problem is I don't suction the gravel now, because these little things start out very small! I have pics I could post if you're interested?

Just thought I'd share that to get back in the action!

pics.....

whats your temp at etc...i have a few cory's but they havent spawned at all yet.

very cool. always exciting to see baby fish.

gangster, most cories start breeding with good live food and frequent cool waterchanges. when i had cory sterbai's they would always lay eggs on the class while i do a waterchange. and my rummynose would follow the pair and eat there eggs as they lay them on the glass.

I added 4 pics, but don't ask me where they are! :irked: The tank is room temperature and I've done nothing to cause them to spawn! It is not a pristine tank, and they seem to like that! The Pleco cleans up the glass, so most eggs go. The oldest is just about half the size of the male, and there are many in smaller, or varying sizes swimming around in the gravel. I guess they where eating what was left of the algae tabs, shrimp pellets, etc, but now I crumble freeze dried Brine Shrimp into the water.
