Spotted Gar & Arowana

Hi everyone, i was wondering if someone could inform me if a Spotted Gar Approx. 6" Could live with a Silver Arowana Approx. 8-9"? I've looked this up TONS of times and never found a straightforward answer. Any Advice is welcome!

I'd say yes never owned an arowanna but have owned a few gar with fish that sit on top with them, the gar just ignored everything besides goldfish

i have seen many people on this site that do that. ge gar that i have are very docile. just be prepared to have a large tank in the next year or two if you dont already.

sounds great, thank you. & i am definantly planning, i just want him to grow a little before i put him with my other fish.

just try it and see what happen. if you're lucky, nothing happen. if not, 1 fish will die.

my arowana is 17 inch, my group of gar are 7 inch, never had any problems. not even nipping.
