Spotted Gar bottomfeeding DV

Hi'
I know my Gar is not supposed to do that, but he does.
He eats floating fish, eats out of my hand and now, takes fish from the bottom.
Everyday I think this feeder is too big,
and everyday my Gar thinks not...

Who says Gar aren't suppose to eat from the bottom? Mine pick up Market shrimp and night crawlers off the bottom all the time.

Maybe gar have something like a 5 second rule, except its more like 20 secs with them.

Nothing wrong, but he just didn't take food unless it floated or I held it into the water.
I read quite often that Gar didn't eat of the bottom.
It.s good he does that!!!
