It can't be kept in there for life because it will grow to about 24". You'll need a tank of at least 24" wide.
It will probably be fine in your 120 for 18 months.

A 120 is still to small for the life of one of these fish..It may hold it for a few years depending on the fish and it's growth.. 18 inches is an average... NOT a max size.. they have potential to reach 24 inches easily and this should be arranged for.
