Hey everyone! Went to the lfs and i seen a spotted gar there, it was about 4 inches and they were asking 12.99 for it. Im very interested in this fish now and contemplating on getting it :s is that a fair price? And how big do they really get.? Some ppl say 18 inches, others tell me 3 feet. Id just like to hear from people with past expiriences with them. Also what a good tank size would be? Wondering if my 125g would cut it? Thanks.

As far as price that is pretty good for a florida of that size. This past year most that I had seen were being sold between $15-$20.
