Spotted Gar Short-term compatibility

G'day all.

Was just wondering how a 35cm (14") Spotted Gar would go with 15cm Angelfish and 12cm Pseudanos Trimaculatus (smaller headstander)?

I'd expect bad things to happen to both of the other fish. The gar might not be able to actually swallow either fish, but it may still attack and kill them just the same.

You can try it, I'd just be prepared to find a couple of dead fish in with the gar...

I'm not really sure of the headstander but my Florida gar doesn't mind my scalare at all and doesn't even really look at him. My gar only eats pellets and market prawns.

I don't think I will try with the angels and headstanders just to be sure, esspecially considering I have the only known (to me) Pseudanos in Aus. I guess i'll just have to get a 5'x2.5'x2.5' for them, oh damn
