spotted green puffer

i have a question, i've been doing some research and i can't find out the true answer. Is the green spotted puffer tetradon nigroviridis brackish or can it be kept in fresh water with just the regular amount of salt?

They start out in brackish and go full salt as they get older. At least that is my understanding.

Alright, thanks that clears everything up perfectly. Nice article well written also. I might have to try my hand at brackish water! Do goby's do well with them?

Expect GSPs to eventually eat most tankmates. They seem to do better witn some SW tankmates like tomato clownfish.
