Spotted or Florida?

Hey just got my new gar. Is it a spotted gar or a florida gar? What are the main differences? He/She is about 6-7 inches. My tank is 5x2x2 feet. I have a 7 inch siver arowana, 4.5inch datnoid polata and two 4 inch peacock bass.
Yes i know i will be upgrading my tank to a 8 or 9 footer when im.in the need to.

Likely a captive bred Florida gar.

The most current consensus is that you cannot tell them apart. Been tried and eventually proven impossible. Period.

The only reliable way is to know where it came from, if from the wild.
