spotted pleco with sa/ca cichlids

hi all i am about 2 to 3 weeks away from getting my 300 gallon tank up and running. for now my fish are living in a 55 gallon tank and i would like to add a 2.5 inch spotted pleco to the tank and i want to see what you guys think

so here is my stock list that i have right now;

1 GT at 2.5 inches
1 nic at 2 inches
1 jack at 1.5 inchs
2 firemouths at 2 inches
5 giant danio at 1.5 inches
1 dension barb at 1 inch

once the 300 is up and running i will be adding 1 to 2 salvini and 1 albino tiger oscar

so do you think my pleco will be ok in the 55 before i move them all to the 300?

what would you think about a striped rapheal cat with this mix?

Buy the Pleco but just know they are pooping machines. It should be fine though as long as it is close to 3 inches. IMO
