Spotted puffers and Pygmys

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Small mid-water to top-water fast schooling fish would have the best chance. Pea puffers, like most other puffers, are fin-nippers.

My peas did great in a 40 plant tank, heavily planted, with lots of overhangs and caves. No tankmates. Within 10 months I was noticing baby peas swimming low in the foliage.

I also seeded the tank with gammarus, clam shrimp, copepods, and micro-crabs. The peas ate freely but, could never completely wipe out the live food. They were also fed lots of bloodworms, baby crayfish, and baby moon snails from my other tanks.

Any pics of the tank ? In the tank at the moment I have 4 blue botia loach around 3" want to add some puffers. Already have my mbu need some more puffers in my life lol
