My rafeal is the fattest fish I think I have ever seen his stomach literally looks like it is a balloon. Its great because he eats well at least live blackworms, frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp. But no kidding this thing looks like if he hits a sharp rock he is going to blow.

its hard to get pics but this catfish is so fat i almost wonder if he has digestive problems. He comes out of his cave everynight to hunt for dinner then when sun rises he is back in the cave all day so fat that his belly and top fin touch top and bottom and he just seems fatter and fatter everyday. Its hard to get a pic because he is never out in the day. what do i do is this normal?????????????????
Both striped and spotted Raphs tend to get ridicilous fat, what other fish do you keep him with? Try to feed him a little less.
he is about 4"-5" and I keep him with a TSN, peacock bass, royal farowella, whiptail catfish, and some other random plecos and catfish.
