spotted raphael ate my new fire eel

i have a spotted raphael that is 9inches long and he has been peaceful for the last 10 years i had him with no problems. I didn't feed my fish for a week while i was on vacation and i come to find my 9 inch fire eel missing. after tearing apart the tank i noticed the size of the belly on my spotted raphael, that sob ate my eel. don't believe everything you read or hear about fish, i was always told this was a community fish.

The eel may have also died and the catfish ate him after he was dead.
