tell me everything you know about this eel mfk :D i have a offer i just bought about 50 pounds of live rock for 80$ off a guy selling all his stuff, yes the rock is clean it was all in a community tank, as he was picking rock a little small head peak through the crushed coral, low and behold a nice foot long spotted snake eel white base black spots blue outline said he will part with it for 160 and that price includes about 10 or so more pounds of live rock he had, what do i need to know about these guys what can i expect, the eel is very friendly eats from the hand only a year old looks amazing and even coils the hand while feeding :D

That sounds pretty neat the price sounds high though. Is that just for the eel?

If he is selling all his stuff, the fish should probably come free. No offense, but what is he gunna do with it after all the stuff is gone?

Heres some FAQ's about your SSE: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/snakeeelfaqs.htm

he has other fish in the tank as well but due to a flood in his basement and a poor foundation he had to dig out the floor and re-cement it and make it level something the builder failed to do so its a slow going project plus he has other tanks to throw this present tanks stock in:P anyways im in canada and the most common snowflake eels up here are 100$ at big als this one seems a little better and the eel comes with 10-15 pounds of live rock thanks for the link :D

No worries.

Big young fish should fetch a good price if in good condition, but remember that he is trying to get rid of it. I dont want you to lowball him, but honestly most people dont make a profit on fish.
