Guys, what do u think would happen if I said to husband:
"Hey Hon, there's a reeel nice 8 ft tank & cabinet on craigslist. You know it's so cute how much the grandson enjoys my little glass-banger.. and BIG fish are even better! We can put it right there--> where the flat-screen TV sits.."

I was right there with you...until you said to get rid of the flat screen. Now if you want the tank low to the ground and have the tv high up on the wall then you're on to something

I was only thinking of mooving it, which is a logistical prob bcuz of his laying-on-the-couch view, with feet up on the couch.
Oh, and low to the ground won't work. grandson is just learning to walk.

move the tv to the foot of the bed, then he won't even have to get up lol. barring that put it in the man cave or make it a package deal and move the couch as well

Just tell him what you said either during a game, pay-per view event or while makin' amore and I'm sure you'll get a uh' huh okay babe. Then just note the time and date so when you follow thru you've got the facts to back you up. Lol! Seriously it works, I had and ex who did that to me constantly and it worked every time for her and I couldn't say nothing cause I technically said yes. I mean he'll eventually catch on, I did but by then you'll be set. :D

You're all silly. Put the TV behind the tank and you can watch them both at once.

Id throw the tv through a window if my wife gave me that offer, but than again other than football tv is a giant bore for me. Id take a big tank over any TV anyday.

LOL @ all of you. Thanx, I was hoping for the laughs.

@knifegill, :-) I have to find out how tall the tank setup is & compare with height of screen hung on wall, its now on a stand.

Tank seller doesn't list price: the "no low ballers, make offer" pitch. it's a long drive & the size would require my trailer to bring it in one trip..+ gas.
