Planiloricaria cryptodon. Large at around 12" including filaments. A sand sifter by nature, it relishes most prepared foods but is pretty slow to acclimate, so it should be kept alone or with other nonaggressive and non-competitive fish. Likes open spaces. Here's my male (one of a pair):

I'd love to be able to find a few of those locally, awesome fish COL, post some pics of the microleps:drool:  :headbang2

It is predatory exclusively to substrate burrowing invertebrates and nothing else, really. Most of the time, they lie on the substrate, "walking" around on their pelvic and pectoral fins, rather unassumingly They do fine on most prepared foods (gut content in the wild is mostly larvae, but some vegetable matter wouldn't hurt), and in fact are quite aggressive once well established, and I've seen them drive off large peckoltia and panaque twice their girth during feeding.

Also sorry, T...I'm back up in college, so no new shots. D:

Damn, oh well. I know what you go through. I'm back in my college town too but this semester I was lucky enough to be able to setup a 110L tank and bring a few of my panaque but it still sucks not being able to be as deep into the game as you'd like.
