Anyone have an XP 1?

I want to put one on my 35 hex, but the spray bar has to be less than 10 1/2 inches long to fit, unless I can put it in vertically.

I have an XP 3 on my 75 gallon tank, but I don't know if the spray bars for all the Filstar XP's are the same.

Thanks. :)

How do I use 1/2? Cut it? My XP 3 bar came as one long bar that is snaped onto the output and flow control.

It should come with 2 diff ones to use, one is just a U and goes int he tank...and the other one is a spray bar , and an extentinon to it to make it twice the length. It should just pull apart..

Or am I thinking of the Cascade..uggh.
Let me go check.

OK, I think I know what you mean. I could just leave off the spray bar part with holes, and just have like a soild stream of water, like a power head.

DUH, why didn't I think of that!

Heres a trick you can try on the Hex tank Measure how wide each side is (inside the tank) an cut the spray bar to 1/2" below the measurement you got earlier. Then you a piece of hose that fits snug on it an make a somewat custom spray bar going around like 2-3 sides in the tank.

or you could use the intake attatchment hooked up to the return. that'll diffuse the return some
