Spray Bar

I would guess you always aim the spray bar via trial and error until you find the right angle to have the drilled holes pointed at.

Once you find what angle the holes seem to spin best at while still dropping water onto the filter media in the right manner I would mark that position and then glue the fitting.

im sorry but i ment with a can i have a casscade and i use the sprat bay but i want to know if im using it the right way:screwy:sorry for not being exact
 
it is best to have it pointed to the top so it agitates the surface.

when you do water changes does the spray bar have enough pressure to spray out of th e tank?
 
Ya, aim it up slightly so the water splashes. I don't think it's really critical, but surface agitation will generate some oxygenation of the water.
