Spray nozzles good or bad?

I am thinking of making a bio tower. i notice alot of towers use a spray bar or diffuser sheet of acrylic, to distribute water over the bioballs. I was thinking i could use a spray nozzle to distribute the water. is this a bad idea?

it seems like a good one to me but i havent seen anyones with spray nozzles.

Well in order to use a spray nozzle you need to build pressure in the pump system which will drastically lower the flow rate. So depending on how large the spray nozzle is, you may or may not want to do this.
