I need a good brand that is safe for underwater/aquarium usage. I have heard Krylon Fusion, is this okay?

yeah krylon fusion is safe once it cures. give it about 24+ hours before putting it in with fish

Why do you need in the water why not outside?

Because I have an Eheim 2213 with no tubing to it. No way in hell I am going to pay $24 off of the eheim website for tubing for this filter, so I am going to buy some clear pvc tubing at the hardware store and paint it black.... I have intakes and outputs from filters I use for parts that will fit 1/2 inch tubing....

:iagree: I would just leave it the way it is...

Try a few hardware stores around your area. The hardware store near me sells black and clear tubing by the foot.

All I could find in HD, lowes, and Menards in 1/2 inch was red and blue tubing. I guess I will be painting it... Removing it every 1-2 years to repaint doesn't bother me....

i work at a hardware store...krylon fusion will work on hard surfaces, glass, plastoic etc., but tubing not so much, and when it flakes and peels off it's not good at all for the fish. do you guys ahve a true value or smaller hardware stores? they usually carry black tubing or get a black hose and cut that

A quick question, can I paint the bottom (inside) of my tank with krylon fusion? I don't want substrate, but I don't want the reflectiveness of bare glass either...
