In the last week we have had 4 soecies of fish spawn must be spring. We now have free swimming red devils wiggling festae,angel eggs and last night our oscars spawned again. My wife is practcally flying on cloud 9 and me too.

The red devils are in a 92g corner bowfront with some red texas juvies and lot of hiding places. The festae and oscars are in a 230g community cichlid tank. The silver ghost angels are now in a 25g breeder tank. We are trying to get a lot of fish breeding to help supply some of lfs not big business but since Jan. we have sold over 600 dollars worth of fish. It is so far a very gratifying hobby.

Thanks we may be getting beyond hobby status to crazy now. We have 60 tanks up and running and about 24 kinds of fish in our breeding program. Hope this doe'nt qualify for insane because I don't know who will look after our fish.
Might have just been a warm up... I bet in a few weeks you get a successful spawn out of them. Good luck! 
I think next time we will take the eggs from both and hatch them our selves. It is nice to let the parents do it but would be nice to get some fry too.
