Squid (Food?) FW Fish

I have to do a project for my marine biology class. So I get to dissect a squid. I could only find a big box of 6 squids and I only needed one. Is it ok to feed pieces of squid to my fish?

i dont see why not. i had fed frozen squid to my rays when i had them, and still feed some of the frozen leftovers to my goldfish occasionally

Is it preserved squid, or just from a grocery store? If it's preserved-NO! If it's just meant for human consumption from a store, then it should be fine.

Make sure you feed slowly and in controlled amounts.

Squid is really messy and smelly if it rots - trust me.
