anyone give frozen squid cut up? Is it cheap? is it healthy?

I feed it to my dats, gars, bichirs, arowana and puffer. They all love it, although, it took them a little while to realize that it was food. Just make sure that you rinse it well.

Price is reasonable based on your location. It's roughly half the cost of small market shrimp in NY, not sure how much it'd cost in Arizona.

my oscars rejected it, but went crazy when I threw in a sliver of raw lobster. Stupid fish have high standards

Are we talking about bait squid or squid intended for human consumption here?

Is there a difference LOL!

Ive used squid from the supermarket raw and mixed into my homemade fishfood and the fish eat it no problems

Never paid attention to the distinction. The bait shop will charge you six bucks for a pint of squid strips, but the seafood markets sell whole squid for 2 bucks a pound. I go with the market squid for fishing.
