True or false? is squid not good for the p fish? this guy recently told me that squid is horrible for p fish.

My Ps diet is about 20% squid and it is just fine for them! If you buy whole ones (the cheapest way to go) you will have to "clean" them first or ink will get all in your tank. Its an easy process. The most common squid you will find is by a company called seawave and you will see it in baitshops (if you are on a coast) or in oriental markets (no kidding its the same stuff). It comes in a box thats a piece of **** so this is what I do. I defrost it all under luke warm water. Make sure the misses isnt home because it stinks. Once defrosted I clean all the individual squid at once. All this consists of is making a clean cut through their body on one side. Inside you will see the ink sack and some gooey organs and waht looks like a little piece of plastic. Carefully rake it all out with a knife so that you dont pop the ink sack and discard the innards. Then I chop it up into bite size pieces, if you dont and throw the whole thing in, well you know the eating habits of Ps so it can get messy. I then place a "serving" into a ziplock bag. After all the squid is cleaned and the appropriate amounts are placed into individual baggies I then stuff them in a larger freezer bag and re-freeze. When its time to feed just pull out a baggie, place its frozen contents into a cup, and then run some warm water of it to defrost it and feed!
