I know this was not your question but..

Live brine shrimp being fed to a salt water aquarium is real risky business. They are bred in real nasty conditions and often carry multiple problems (parasites, bacterias, etc.) Since they are a salt water organisn, these thins will transfer into your aquarium and continue to live and possibly affect your fish.

As per you squirrel, they are not picky eaters, a good balanced diet such as Ocean Nutritions Formula one or two is a great multi complex diet to use. Suplementing it's diet with pieces of shrimp, krille, squid and the like are a good option too.

You can sidestep most problems associated with brineshrimp by raising your own, it is cheap and easy.
Some of the Sargocentrum genus stay small (3-4")

feeder shrimp are great live food if you can get them locally. You can also buy fresh seafood at just about any grocery store. Shrimp, clams, squid, octopus, etc. are probably your best bet, and you can even chop them up and freeze them to make your own frozen foods. Live fish probably aren't going to be the best thing to base his diet on as most freshwater feeder fish aren't very nutritional for saltwater fish
