I just got this 12incher from hawaii after a long painful shipment from hawaii to ny. The sterofoam box was crack & leaking & it was cold. Stupid delta! Luckily Its still okay. Looks a lil beat up & weak like its having jetlag or somethng. It likes to swim on top for some weird reason. I hope he is doing ok i guess. Ate shrimp right of my hand which is a good sign. He is handtrained but for sure not pellet trained. Im gona fatten him up first & then pellet train him.

Please help me ID him just to make sure its a ST. Here is a short vid of it when. First got him for a day.

Sadly sold my aggressive jardini & Just passed my promotion exam so i thought to treat myself w/ something. Thanks guys!
 
good for u i gald is make it , u need to add salt in there , eye looking bad
 
It looks tiny bit cloudy at a certain angle but it got alot better. Im afraid to add more salt because i hav clown loaches. Maybe ill put them in another tank for a day or two.
 
My loaches are about 6-7 inches. Pretty big but yea my st is huge compare to it. Hope it doesmt swallow it
 
Keep your water pristine, add salt and increase aeration ....The swimming at the surface it's not a good sign. I'm not trying to scare you, just take good care of this guy until it completely recovers. GL and keep us posted.
