Stability of Dats?????

Reading these posting I see all this "when your Dat gets Stable"..What does that mean?

stability refers to their coloring. dats that are stable will have pronounce gold/yellow coloring with their black bars. unstable dats will have their bars faded, their gold will be very dark.

it's like any other fish...when fish are stress, bad water, uncomfortable, etc....they change color.

if your tiger is nice and colorfull like the pictures you see of them then they are stable

if its all black or the stripes are all washed out then its unstable

the stability will mostly depend on the fishes "mood" if the fish feels stressed or uncomfortable it will show unstable coloring.
