I picked up a 3-4 inch NTT a couple weeks ago, and he has been stable since day 1. I was told that he was feeding on krill and I have been offering him (thawed) frozen krill, silversides and bloodworms as well as carnivore sticks. However, I have not observed him eating and I can't really tell if he has been or not when the lights are out (could be tankmates eating the food). My question is this: could my dat be starving and still be stable?

Would not say he is starving. And yes, tigers can be stable, if you decide to starve them.
Don't worry about it.
There's tons of useful Posts on stability, feeding and starving tigers to convert theirfood consumption. Best u do a search on this forum.
Good luck.

I recently picked up 2 indos, both 8 inch.
Not eaten a thing for 2 weeks, and is likely not to eat for
another 2 weeks, ime.
Totally normal for tigers in new tank.

ahh ok - congrats on your purchase btw. Its weird though - you would think that starving them would stress them and cause them to not become stable.

Thanks!

in regards to pics - i would but i do not have any cameras atm. I also have a jardini (I know, I know) and a sun cat in with him - both of which eat the thawed, frozen krill. In fact the jardini will dive down to get krill lying on the ground, sometimes right in front of the dat
