Hi all!

I just got a 6" indo tiger (IT). When i first put it in the tank, she just blast all her beautiful colour and clean 4 stripes. But then it's nt stable. Now it's very unconsistent.

I need some advice from experts on ITs. How can i stabilize her?

My tank is a 422. Currently with her are 14" crossback arowana, 6" Orino PB, 7" endi.. I had removed the driftwood i use to have as deco as i read some forums that bare tank helps to stabilize an IT. It's better without the driftwood but like as mentioned, very unconsistent..

Can i please get some advice frm successful owners of a stable IT?

Thanks!! ;)

nobody knows exactly why dats are stable, or how to make them that way...in my experience with dats, I've bought them completely stable, and when they get in my tank they go dark. Ive also bought them unstable and they colored up nicely in my tank. some are always stable, some go back and forth, and some just never will be stable...For me thats the allure in keeping these awesome fish.

Indo dats turning unstable is the reason why I quit keeping Indos. Your water can be very good quality and the fish can be healthy but your dat is still dark and unstable for some reason. To me, there's not much reason to keep them if they stay black like that all the time.

I had 15 once, all smaller ones. In my experience, the ones that are kept by themselves in bare bottom talks and light colored background turned stable for me. That was just 1 out of 15 though. I couldn't get the others to be stable no matter what. NTT ate much more likely to be stable and that's what i keep instead.
