Stable now??? Crazy 3 3 and the mystery continues....

I picked up a couple dats as deal sweetners on a purchase I made a couple months ago. One 33 and one 44 both small 4 being smaller but always stable and active. The 3 bar hides lurks rarely colors up and is generally the crappyest fish ive ever owned. They are in the same tank eat the same things have doubled in size but still very little stability.....

Well tonight doing a water change and 3 bar decides its time to not only swim at the front of the tank but show some stripes!!!!

And before anyone says water quality...the tank was still drainging dueing these pics.....

Seems like a diverse blend of fishes you got. I just have a hunch that they both will stabilize more and more often cuz they will always be aware of their surroundings.

They'll become more active, they can just b shy to new environment. They also sometime react that way (show bars) when stressed or feel threatened. Nice looking tank! Sure the Dats will b swimmin with rest of your fish more often as time goes by. They r kinda crazy fish

Can't think of another fish that takes a lot of patience from its owner.
