Hello everyone, this is my first post. Been observing everyone here past couple weeks and I have decided to post finally. I'm going to be building a stand for my 90 gallon. Trying to make it also fit a 55 gal. Sump on the bottom as well. Seems to me there's a lot of knowledgable folks here so any constructive criticism appreciated.

First off dimensions: 90g is 48.5x18.5x24 in. (LxWxH) respectively.
55g is 48.25x13.25x19 in.

Wanting stand to be 50x20 and 30in tall. So I'm thinking build framework for footprint of my 90 first then add legs. I know 2x4s are about 1.5-ish by 3.5-ish. So that leaves me with about a 14in wide opening on the side to slide my 55 in. Kinda hard to explain without pics but posting from iPad and I can't upload files. Help on uploading appreciated as well.

I have a bunch of 2x4s laying in the backyard, thinking they'll be good to use. They look weathered but I think after completion I can sand and paint or stain.

After some sawing, some screwing, and lots of pondering I have it mostly put together.
i decided to use the old 2x4s,...they weren't warped just aged so figured they were good.
im gona get tank on it and let it settle in tomorrow. Didn't use any wood glue, just screws. The stand feels very solid tho.
