I'm thinking this should be more than sufficient.

Tank dimensions are 8x4x2 tall and will be made out of acrylic. I'm still going to be adding a sheet of plywood to the top of the stand.

Acrylic should be here in 1-2 weeks!

Very nicely built! Do you know where you'll be setting your sump tank, or are you using a different type of filtration?

Thanks! I'm just going to run 3-4 fx5/6s on the tank. I know a sump is far more superior, but I wanted tok rep this set up very simple.

Nice!

Post pics when tank is up and running. What's going in it?

That many FX5's would be amazing. You can not only create the flow you want within the tank, but you could have entire canisters designated solely to biological, mechanical, or chemical filtration if you wanted to. I think that's going to work out great.

Yea I'm just thinking of doing all biological and mechanical. Should work out great though. I already have two canisters, and we will see if I can find a couple more before this thing is together. lol

Oh definitely will be posting pics. lol I have a 2ft niger, 16" irwini, 13" granulosus, 3 10-12" motoro rays, 1 16-17" leopoldi ray, 20" hbrtg aro (he might be heading to a new home though), 30" silver aro, 2 12" tarpons, and 4 heavily stunted id sharks (ranging from 5-10"). lol It's quite the list.
